I MASTER Syllabus
A preschool syllabus guides young children’s holistic development, focusing on language, math, social-emotional, physical, and creative skills through play-based and hands-on learning.
Nursery
Nursery kids are children aged approximately 2.5 to 4.5 years old who attend a nursery school, which is the first formal step in their educational journey, focusing on holistic development through play-based and structured activities. This stage helps children develop crucial cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills by providing a nurturing environment for learning foundational concepts, practicing motor skills, and preparing for primary school.
L. KG.
Lower Kindergarten (L. KG.), also called Junior Kindergarten, is the first stage of formal pre-primary education for children typically aged 3.5 to 5.5 years old. It serves as a bridge from home or playgroup to a structured school environment, focusing on play-based learning to develop foundational skills in literacy (the alphabet), numeracy (numbers), social interaction, and emotional growth, preparing them for Upper Kindergarten (U. KG.) and future primary schooling.
U. KG.
Upper Kindergarten (U. KG.) is the final stage of preschool education, typically for children aged 4.5 to 6.5, that serves as a bridge to formal primary school by building upon foundational skills with more structured learning activities. The UKG curriculum focuses on academic readiness through language, math, and environmental science, alongside personal and social-emotional development, preparing children for success in Grade 1 through a mix of interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and play-based learning.
